Although PD Essentials is no longer funded through the Virginia Department of Education, training is still available. PD Essentials continues to upskill early childhood leaders through our train-the-trainer series, Essentials for Early Childhood Professional Development Providers, and through Practice-Based Coaching training. Other professional development options include makeovers of existing training to increase engagement and learning; observation and feedback on training using Essentials tools for in-person and virtual training; and custom workshops for conferences, staff training, and family workshops.
