Closer Game
This is an active and quick closer that can be completed in a large group. It is particularly effective for capturing ideas that people may be more inclined to share anonymously.
Materials:
Piece of paper and a pencil or pen for each participant
Directions:
Ask participants to respond to a summary question. For example:
• Based upon what you learned today, what is the first thing that you plan to implement in your daily work?
• What are the two most important take away ideas from your experience today?
Participants write their responses on a sheet of paper. They crumple the paper into a snowball and toss it into a pile located in the center of the group.
Participants choose a snowball (other than their own) and read the ideas that were shared.
