Potato and Straw Energizer

 
Materials:
One medium size potato and a plastic straw for each participant
Directions:
Give each participant a medium size potato and a plastic straw (not a bendable straw,)
Demonstrate how to hold the potato with your hand in a C-formation.
Tell participants to cover the top end of the straw with their thumb.
Demonstrate the striking motion (from over your shoulder to down by your side.) Emphasize that follow-through is the key to success.
